As the first language center exclusively for kids in Tirunelveli, we specialize in creating a child-friendly, inspiring environment where young learners thrive. We are proud to be an exclusive center for children, offering age-appropriate lessons, activities, and support tailored to their needs.

In addition to our phonics programs, we also train children for the Cambridge Young Learners English (YLE) exams, building their confidence and helping them achieve international recognition in English.

Meet Our Founder

Baby subha Lakshmi,

FOUNDER & DIRECTOR, PHONICS POINT,

Professional Jolly Phonics Trainer.

Subha is an experienced and passionate early-years educator with over 17 years of teaching experience in reputed CBSE and international schools. She is the Founder and Director of Phonics Point, an educational studio dedicated to building strong early literacy skills in young learners.

She holds an M.A. in English and a B.Ed. in Education, qualifications that laid a strong foundation for her career in early childhood education. Her professional journey as a Kindergarten Teacher and Coordinator helped her discover a deep passion for working with young learners and nurturing their foundational reading and writing skills.

With specialised training in Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar, Subha follows a structured, child-centred approach to phonics instruction. She has successfully completed the official Jolly Phonics Teacher Training Course conducted by CPD College, Ireland, equipping her with internationally recognised teaching practices. Her teaching philosophy blends systematic phonics, creativity, and joyful learning, enabling children to become confident, independent readers and writers.

Over the years, Subha has implemented phonics programmes, mentored teachers, and conducted parent training sessions. In recognition of her excellence in education, she was honoured with the Best Facilitator Award by Auro Educational Services. Her ability to connect with children, guide educators, and support parents has made Phonics Point a trusted and nurturing space for early literacy development.
